readings

I've been reading a bit...

The Little Prince.
A fantastic story which had some really profound thoughts embedded within.
"What is essential is invisible to the eye... for what you have tamed, you become responsible forever."
"Grown ups are very very odd... kings... conceited individuals... businessmen... drunkards... lamp-lighters... geographers..."
"One must demand of each and every one what he or she is capable of... Authority is first and foremost based on reason."

Tuesdays with Morrie.
Touching... about the optimism and the way of living.
I believe everyone has a teacher or mentor who has brought the guiding light.
"We're extremely fortunate not to know precisely the kind of world we live in... W. Syzmborska."

Who moved my cheese.
A classic novel. or rather a classic lesson.
How everyday events may just be simple yet complicated only by the little people's complex minds, by the way my friends often say I think too much already. Anyways, the lesson is simple: Accept Change and always be ready to move on!
