Loneliness

I’m sitting at Ya Kun, sipping away the coffee O. In case you don’t know… my “Di Kun” has the same Chinese word as “Ya Kun”. Yup… For non-Singaporeans reading this blog… Ya Kun is a famous coffee franchise that sells great toast and I love the kaya toast!

Anyway… I’ve decided to come out from home early… going to City campus later… then after lunch going to the Bukit Timah (Botanic Gardens) Campus. It’ll be a fun day. Would be meeting Shingles and maybe YC and WY. =)

Would be shopping for a few Singapore mementos to bring to UK/Spain.

I have been caught in a recent predicament… guess backpacking alone would be sad… But I’ll try to make the most out of it.

Would attempt to encapsulate my thoughts in a poem… here it goes!



The streets of London, lights so lovely…
In my heart’s throne, longing for friends so dearly…
Looking around, couples abound…
Thinking about… whom I’ll meet at the next roundabout…
Times so long…
It’s weary…
Memories so strong…
Bringing smiles, merry…
Friends I have in my heart…
They never part…
In times so dark and so alone…
I know…
They are there, with me they will roam…
I know…
They are here, hearing my cheers and moans…
Thank you friends…
The path might never end…
