Discrimination
I'm learning about price discrimination now in class... beginning to think about the discrimation that pervades our society... how somethings change because of how one perceives another's background.
1) Race: It's pretty common... even I admit to falling prey to a degree of racial discrimination... it's unavoidable of sorts... we find differeneces a bit too stark compared to similarities (such as nationality... education and others).
2) Looks: Well, oh well, who can deny people judge each other by the cover... at least first interactions definitely.
3) Capability: some people are born more equal than others...
4) Wealth: Who lived in a kampung and enjoyed the life running among chickens, feeding big tortioise... with durians almost killing them on a possible fateful day; Who lived in a condominium or landed property... running with neighborhood friends to McDonald's... slurping off the nicest ice-cream and playing the most fantabulous toys there are in the market: I've lived both lives simultaneously... at life's phases.
5) Heart: The thing is... how important is a big heart since no one knows...
I'm disillusioned by some things in life but I guess things are going right again... at least in some area... but not exactly on the relationship area... I'm doing fine... never gave up as yet... persistence or obstinance... enlighten!
