29th... an evening of rememberance & nostalgia

On 29th... I met with benson for lunch. He's now w the N/P on internship. Ha... met in orchard for makan and we had NYDC... ha... it's kinda like my first official NYDC lunch! Yup... tried the set lunch and the baked rice was nice but a bit sweet... yes.
Two of us were army friends and have not met each other for quite some time since the last time I sent him off to Australia for studies. Yup... time has passed by so quickly... it's going to be another year soon and we are 3.5 years to graduation!

After eating lunch, I went back to school to reformat my T41 IBM! Ha... it's my second reformating. Glad YV was there to accompany me through the laborious and boring process. Ha... the administrator (a student employed by CIT) was there to assist throughout... and interestingly I met this administrator the previous day on the 28th at the YEP proposal presentation to the E-cube people. So I started reformating around 230pm and ended around 5pm... ha... it's only reformating and not inclusive of resetting the configurations!

After the reformating was done I went out to eat with YV... ha... she didn't know the route out from the back of the Botanic... "guess you learn something new everyday". Yup. We went to coronation & I showed her around... ate the 可爱鸡 for dinner with barley. Ha... it reminds me of the TCHS and HCJC days and the interesting was the Hwachongnians eating at the adjacent tables... one of the HCJC-ians know YV and it sparked off a short but funny and interesting conversation of HCJC... ha... I think i'm 4 years their seniors! :) Wow! That is ammazing! ;)

After eating we strolled to Hwa Chong JUnior College... went through the canteen, up to the auditorium, the library, my CCA rooms... walked past the classrooms and LTs... all the way to TCHS... ha... :) YV was great company & i hence felt at ease to share my stories of HCJC and TCHS... the funny, the dumbo, the sad, the happy, the many many moments there! :)
From the street soccer courts... the CCA blocks... the art block... the field, science & computer labs... to the clock tower and the hall... my old cca rooms again... the canteen and some interesting marble table with shakeable marble chairs! Ha... oh yah... we also walked to the boarding house and played with some "see-saw" thing along the way there. It was my first visit to the boarding house. It looks very much like the PGP in NUS, really posh and high class kind of apartment style. Oh... yah... we had lots of fun talking and all throughout the visits... and I think somehow we share some interestingly similar likes & dislikes... ha... ^5! :)

After the swimming poool we walked out and I sent her across the bridge. It was really pleasant to spend a day recollecting memories of Chinese High and Hwachong... but sadly the school names are going to change... but the past moments, glories and everything shall remain etched in me in the names they once were and would always seem to me as being. Thanks YV for spending the evening with me... appreciate a lot!

The visit to TCHS, HCJC... bitter, sweet memories.

Liebest So Genau (Love so True)

Light emerging from the stars...
On which friendship bears...
Veils of hope shed thru tears...
End e loneliness, end e fears...

Smile and cheers...
Only you hear...

To me life will be complete...
Realm of surreality deplete..
Understand me I hope you will...
Endeavours I leave this trail...
